We wish to thank our dear friend Edith, in Holland, for all her love, support and trust in us to have the great honour of owning this absolutely wonderful horse.  We had no idea that not only were we buying a wonderful horse, we would have this wonderful International friendship.

We are very proud to own Janka van de Hanenberghoeve aka Anky, who is a Studbook Ster Mare full papered*, (*unbroken pedigree behind for 3 generations with Ster or better on the mother line of dam, grand-dam & great grand-dam), produced a beautiful stud foal on March 9th 2008 at 4:15 am, named Andreas BRF, by the stallion Beart411, who in 2006 produced the highest number of 1st Premie Friesian foals, 30 out of 179 breedings and his sire, is Jasper366, which was rated 2nd in number of breedings for 2006.  In 2007 Beart produced 85% 1st & 2nd Premie foals and 67.2% ster mares.

Janka aka Anky is by Remmelt323, dam's sire Ygram.  She is 165cm tall and Beart is 1.68cm tall.  Janka has produced a 1st Premie foal in the past and on September 19 2008, her colt, Andreas BRF became her second 1st Premie offspring. Our 2008 foal out of Janka, Andreas BRF, is featured on 4 pages here.  We are very pleased with his development and becoming 1st Premie at his keuring.  By Andreas becoming first Premie, it represents roughly 5% in the world, with this rating.  It also adds to the numbers of 1st Premie foals, that his sire has produced.

Below is Janka aka Anky's pedigree, and as you can see it is a dream pedigree.

 Last Portrait in Holland

Most horses are lucky to have one family that love them but Anky is lucky enough to have two families that love her, her family in Holland and now her family in Canada.  Anky was lucky enough to capture hearts on both sides of the ocean.

Pictured above with Lynn up top, is Hans, Teddy, Edith, Anky.
