Jildou at Keuring 2008

Jildou van de Weteringhoeve Studbook Ster mare by Oege 267 Preferent, better known as the "Hairman".  Jildou is so gentle and easy to handle for even the most timid of handler. She has a stately, regal demeanor and a beauty one can appreciate in the older mare. 

Jildou has a 2008 filly by Fabe 348 from Stam 147, who is 2000 World Champion Reserve Friesian stallion.  Fabe's scores for Stall behaviour scored rare, 9.0, Character 9.0, Trainability 8.5, all amazing. Fabe has 2 approved sons, Sape 381 & Tije 401.

Jildou, delivered a filly for 2009 by Doaitsen 420 of Stam 163, which is 167cm, who is a beautiful moving stallion.  In his first year of breeding he bred 221 mares, and set a new record with 40- 1st Premie foals.

Jildou is a half sister to 6 approved Friesian stallions by her sire Oege 267: Ritse 322, Remmelt 323, Tiemme 330, Anton 343, Jitse 361 and Lolke 371.  

Jildou's half sisters by her sire, Oege 267 can be credited with producing the following approved stallions:  Obe 314, Oeds 318, Thomas 327, Tjitte 333, Reyert 337, Brandus 345, Gradus 356, Liekele 364 and Tonis 393.

Jildou's dam, Janni, passed away in 2008 at age 23. 

Jildou has the biggest, most beautiful honest eyes, with as much or more hair and feathers than many stallions.  She has passed on the "hair" to her beautiful 2008 Fabe348 filly that has that rock solid personality that people die to have.  Both Jildou & Brecht compete for who gets the most attention.  They both could stand and get attention for hours.  If the filly is getting too much attention Jildou will even leave feed to get equal attention.  

When they landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, even when they were rolling their container across from the plane, Brecht was busy nursing, just taking everything in her stride.  With Jildou's calm demeanor added to Brecht's sire, Fabe348's high scoring "Character scores", this has proven to be a winning combination.
